Living in Solidarity with the Poor

In partnership for Sustainable Agriculture

We are delighted to launch our Parish Project. After much consideration, suggestions and due diligence we have selected the Ikutha Project. We, at St Dunstan’s and St Hugh’s will Partner with the Poor Servants of the Mother of God to support the training of women in sustainable agriculture techniques, to allow them to generate an income and provide good quality nutrition for their families in Ikutha, Kitui County, Kenya.

Prayer for the women farmers being supported by the Poor Servants of the Mother of God and through our Overseas Project – Ikutha, Kenya

 Loving and Faithful God,

we thank You for bringing women together as the St. Monica Livelihood Group,

for giving them strength to rise above poverty and work for a better life with dignity.

Bless the work of their hands, their small beginnings, and dreams for a brighter future.

Be with them in their efforts to learn, support one another, and build livelihoods that

sustain their families and community.

Bless the Sisters and all those who support and walk with them on this journey.

May all we do together, whether in Ikutha itself or far away in Woking,  bring glory to Your Holy name.

We pray this through Our Lord Jesus Christ.

Amen.
